MENTAL HEALTH

Being at peace, physically and mentally, is really important, especially for people who dream of doing something big and out of the box, for the people who work hard on their dreams. (Thinking out of the box does not mean to do something really different, but actually means to do something with perfection, by giving it time and putting in effort.)

Being healthy, both from mind and body, already makes you feel a hundred times more motivated and boosted up for what you desire. Having good mental health not only affects you, but the surroundings around you as well.

But what do we actually mean when we talk about mental health? Mental health is the state of being mentally stable and at peace, having everything untangled in the head, in the simplest of words. Good mental health does nothing but good to you. We will be talking about everything you need to know related to your mental health, symptoms that might lead to poor mental health, and what all you can do to mentally be at peace.

1.What does Mental Health mean?

Mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences cognition, perception, and behavior. It also determines how an individual handles stress, interpersonal relationships, and decision-making (a google appropriate definition).

2.Why being mentally healthy is really important?

Your mental health determines how you perceive things and your surroundings, it also determines the way you behave, and how other people perceive you in turn. Mental health plays a vital role from our childhood, to when we grow up, regardless of age. It is important to mentally be at peace because:

* You are able to interpret your surroundings in a better way.

* You are able to interact with people knowingly.

* You get confident about yourself and your personality.

* You stress less and handle things with ease.

* It makes you feel more powerful and you can sense that your body and mind are synchronized to work together and you have more control over yourselves.
* Your physical health goes hand in hand.

* external distractions don't distract you anymore.

3. Symptoms of poor mental health.

There are people who suffer from poor mental health unknowingly. A few noticeable symptoms of it can be:

*Feeling sad or down.

*Stress, anxiety, depression.

*Irritability.

*Confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate.

*Excessive fears or worries, or extreme feelings of guilt.

*Extreme mood changes of highs and lows.

*Withdrawal from friends and activities.

*Significant tiredness, low energy or problems sleeping.

*Detachment from reality (delusions), paranoia or hallucinations.
*Inability to cope with daily problems or stress.

*Trouble understanding and relating to situations and to people.

*Problems with alcohol or drug use.

*Major changes in eating habits.

*Sex drive changes.

*Excessive anger, hostility or violence.

*Suicidal thinking.
.
*Having physical problems, such as stomach pain, back pain, headaches, or other unexplained aches and pains.

4. Cure:

It is completely okay to see a doctor if you feel something off or disbalanced with you, and there is no shame in doing something that is for your betterment. Talk to people you feel comfortable around, and find a cure to your problem. Cures for different personalities can be completely different, and therefore, it is better to find a solution yourselves. Some good practices can be:

*Not worrying about the future and not complaining about your past.

*Living the best life you willingly and possibly can.

*Enjoying everything around you and keeping yourselves busy so that you slowly get away from problems.

*Talking to your comfort people.

*Journaling.

*Pursuing your ambitions.

*Exercising.

*Eating healthy and drinking lots of water.

*Knowing, valuing and prioritizing yourself.

*Keeping away from toxic people.

*Venting out your emotions.

Everyone can have different perspectives and reasons about certain things, and therefore, you should do what helps you the most and works out best for you.

                                    -------~-------

In human life, there is a balance between three parameters~ Health, Relationships and Wealth. If there is a disbalance in between any one of these, the whole cycle gets affected.

We can compare a peaceful mind(person X) and a stressed and unstable mind(person Y). For a peaceful mind, handling the situations will be much easier and accurate than for the unstable minded person. Their work efficiency will be completely different. X will be sorted in life even at their lows, knowing that things will get better, but Y will stress more, and will spoil their mental health more.

For ambitious people, it is important to keep a track of their mental health, and be healthy in all ways. Therefore, you should do all things that can possibly make you feel more positive and productive.

"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they're never weaknesses."
