CONSISTENCY l CONSISTENCY BLOG

Consistency is the key to get a step forward and achieve your goal. In the easiest language possible, consistency means regularity. The act of practicing a certain task daily, until you get it in your habit. Now this word is small, yet very tricky. This might make or break your routine in real life. From nothing to everything, being consistent really has a huge impact on your life. It is just like adding a single rupee to your piggy bank daily, which some day will sum up to a huge amount, very unpredictable!

Being very honest, consistency is the only difference between the people who excel, and the ones who are left behind. In order to get used to something, you have to perform that particular task daily, that’s consistency. If you want to get in the habit of waking up early in the morning, then you will have to wake up early every morning until it gets into your habit and you get used to it. It will make you feel tired throughout the day, or maybe you’ll find it difficult to wake up early, but it soon will become a part of your routine, and then you will start enjoying it. In the beginning, you might not see any type of difference in yourself, and you might also feel that all of it is a waste of time, and all your efforts are going for literally nothing, but everything will align slowly, and you will start to notice a change in you and your lifestyle.

Having said that, if you really want to achieve a particular goal, you have to be passionate about your work, you have to have a burning desire within yourselves, because your determination will pay off some day, and it will make you feel really content. Consistency really is the greatest key to achieve your goals. A very live example of this passion & giving up situation is none other than of our own. When we started to write our own book, we felt very motivated to write it, to bring it out to the world around us, but slowly we started slowing down due to other priorities in life, us being students ourselves, it started to become a bit difficult to do everything together, but we still are passionate about creating a piece of work for people to read and actually feel something about themselves; and somehow we regularly manage to take out some time to discuss and take notes of everything around us, and get it together in the form of this little book.

We discussed to-do lists, and listing out our tasks, right? We can make a list pretty easily, the tough part is to be consistent with performing all of those tasks regularly. We have to be motivated enough to complete all our tasks and follow the 21-day regime here. This for sure will boost up our confidence and pump us up every morning.

Coming to the part when we feel low, we can just remind ourselves that we have done this in the past, and we still can do it because we are infinite, limitless.

Consistency+Right Direction = Success.

When you are consistent, in the right ways, and have the right direction, it immediately opens the doors of success, and when the results are in front of you after you have worked hard, it gives you more motivation to work even harder, and it is a complete cycle. Even if somehow you are not able to see the results, it is completely okay. What we can actually do is get motivated to perform even better and achieve better results this time.

People sometimes confuse consistency with punctuality, but these are two completely different words with completely different meanings. Consistency is the act of being regular with performing a particular task, like if I have to read a book daily, then I will read it daily, be it at any time of the day; where as punctuality is the act of sticking to a particular time, if I have to read a book at 5 p.m, then I have to read it at the exact same time daily.

Also, not to mention, consistency brings self discipline to our lives. We become more focused on our goals, and our thought process becomes more clear.

You will find hundreds of excuses to stop, but find that one reason that is enough to keep you going throughout the journey. Work hard in the hardest times and you won't regret a single second of your hard work!

“Consistency requires a long term commitment from you and involves sustained efforts in doing actions repeatedly until you achieve your goals.”

~Breaking the chain of your hard work is easier than being consistent, but a happy and satisfied life comes to those who work hard, with determination.
