AWAKEN FROM WITHIN
Life sometimes might seem like a difficult road to cross, and all of a sudden you see a running crossroad. It is just about the perfect timings for you to realize, that your existence has a purpose.....This is the life changing moment, where age does not matter. Everyone here is different with a different purpose on this planet, there are people who realize this purpose at a young age, while the others realize it somewhere later, but as in india we say-" जब जागो तब सवेरा" There is no particular age for learning more and doing something different in life. There are people who start a new business in their old ages, and that is what matters. But putting in no effort in and after this realization is the biggest guilt, and that is what might drown you too. Maybe you find yourself nowhere in this world, maybe you go on your instagram feed and find people who inspire you, but still you find it demotivating in a way that might make you ask yourselves-WHO AM I ACTUALLY? AM I EVEN EXISTING? AND IF YES, THEN WHY? But the decision is yours, to decide that you actually want to achieve something in life is what is important. It is just like Spirituality, when you get to know yourself from within, but its way more intense. So we probably can say that जिसने खुदको समझा, उसने दुनिया समझ ली। But you know, it has got more than all of this to it. We sometimes just realize that we have got something to do with this life but probably still are not able to make it with understanding about what we have got in our inner self. We have to observe each and everything in and around us. We have to identify our strengths and weaknesses. But the question arises, How? The answer to that is simple, just explore each and every single opportunity that you come up with, observe everything that you do, and what makes you feel more confident, observe what impacts you the most, and what stuff do you find major interest in. Out of everything you explore, you might come across several activities which you do unwillingly, just to give a try, but there must be some, which catch your attention, and you are the most keen to try and develop them, or maybe you already have a skill to support that activity. Just to make it simple, an example as simple as this can be --- that you might come across coding or singing, which you find absolutely of no use, but then you one day start to write a poem, and it just makes sense to you. That writing is what makes you happy now, and you want to pursue it, as something you enjoy doing and would always love to do. This is where you have explored yourselves to a limit, that you also find out that you draw well too, there are high chances of you becoming a book writer with the prettiest cover page and the most beautiful poems ever.
It
is not always that someone has got something to do with studies,
passion is passion, and it can derive from anywhere, unknowingly. But to
discover it, you have to be a social bug, be aware of your
surroundings, and try to soak in everything like a sponge. Now that we
have realized about our life changing moment, and have identified our
abilities in life, what next? Being a sponge is important, but now we
have to just squeeze out all of the extra gain that we have soaked in
while trying and testing ourselves, and start to focus on our strength,
but for that matter, still knowing our weak areas, where we can slowly
work on; but first, get your priorities sorted, know your strength, work
on it, and make it the strongest of you, and then comes the next step~
Identify our Goal. We already in our head, have an idea of what we are
good at, so why not explore the main fields around it. To choose our
goal, we first have to find our interest, what we like doing, what makes
us happy and we do it without any pressure. Interest is something we
confuse a lot with professional life.
Listen, Passion is
something you love doing, you put in your heart and soul to achieve the
best out of your passion, that is what your interest is. But your
profession? It is not important to make your passion, your profession.
Confusing right? Look at it like this. You are a skilled writer and an
artist, you love what you do, but you find no scope in this passion of
yours. So you skip the idea of it and start to get into other fields,
which are not your cup of tea at all. But one day, you just get a call
from an IT Company from nowhere, and you’re
shook by the fact that it is an IT company and you are a writer and an
artist. Most of it is ironic. But then you come to know that they want
to hire you for their commercials and advertisements, for slogans and
marketing. Wow, a matter of Co- incidence again? You got to make your
passion, your profession, but that’s now what always happens. How to choose your profession is the big question that’s
going on in your mind right now~ I know, I know! Of course, choose it
on the basis of your capability, which again goes hand in hand with your
abilities and strengths and weaknesses. And then go with the knowledge
you have around what you are doing, look at every aspect of the
profession, imagine the best and the worst case scenarios, and look at
the success ratio in your passion, and your profession. Have backup’s too, but don’t let them be so strong that your burning desire to achieve your goal fades, thinking that we’ve got a backup, if not this, then that will work. We’ll
probably come to that later. Now that our profession is decided too, we
need some type of work, to get to it. We need to set routines, and be
consistent at it, we will be discussing this in further topics.
Some itty bitty motivation- There is a thin line difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary, that is, the word EXTRA, itself. It does not always have to be about money, it is about your will to achieve, because money will come anyways, if you are willing to work hard on no matter what you want to do. It’s just like, preparing for the food takes hours, and eating all that delight, just takes us a few minutes. Maybe your passion demands a lot of those hours, a lot of hard work, but some day it will all pay off, and you will enjoy every moment of it.
A NOTE FOR PARENTS:A humble request to the parents would be, not to compare your child at any stage of life, because everyone is born with different abilities. Instead of demotivating them, you should have faith in your child and support them.
In our 20’s, we usually don’t have any kind of responsibilities, so we have time to explore more, everything we think we can and we should, so that we don’t have to regret it later on, so that we don’t have any guilt.
